Creamy Dream: The Magic of Mush Overnight Oats

Florence Pugh's Dark Preparation

Florence Pugh talked about how she got into character for the thriller Midsommar on the Off Menu digital broadcast. She played an understudy named Dani Passion who goes to Sweden and ends up in the middle of a violent group. Pugh shared that in order to bring out the best execution, she immersed herself in the person's agony and put herself in dark situations, which included envisioning the worst scenarios to get into character.

Pugh knew that the most common way to get into character was to be really hard on yourself. At the end of the shoot, she felt like she had manipulated herself to get the right look. In addition, Pugh revealed that she felt enormous guilt when she gave Midsommar the order to begin working on Greta Gerwig's Little Ladies because she thought she had left Dani's personality in a weak state.

Also, Pugh moreover shared her interpretation of what comes to pass for Dani around the completion of the film. She accepts Dani's existence, but the injury she sustained may prevent her from receiving religious treatment or employment. Pugh, on the other hand, is willing to accept that Dani will end up exactly where she deserves to be, despite the fact that this will be a terrible and twisted situation.
