Veteran radio personality dies.

Doug Mulray was a well-known radio and television personality with a successful career in the media. Before rising to fame on ABC's Twofold J in the latter part of the 1970s, he began his career in local radio in New South Ridges. He is most well-known for saying "I'll cop you later" and hosting the Triple M breakfast show in Sydney in the 1980s. Additionally, Mulray was a well-known TV personality who introduced shows like Magnificence and the Monster, Captivated, and the Doug Mulray Show.

In 2019, Mulray was selected for the Business Radio Corridor of Distinction due to his dedication to the radio industry. When he passed away, many of his friends honored him for his overall respect. Andrew Denton, an essayist who collaborated with Mulray in the 1980s, portrayed him as a "true one-of-a-kind," and media personality Peter Fitzsimons referred to him as a "notorious radio man."
